Windows Home Server 2011 alert notices are not available in the alert viewer

While checking the state of my Windows Home Server 2011 I noticed that on the Dashboard the area that indicates the number of Critical, Warning, and Informational alerts was replaced by a message that simply said “No Data”.  Upon attempting to open the Alert Viewer I recived the message “Alert notices are not available in the Alert Viewer due to an error or incomplete action, or a service has stopped working.  If the problem persists, contact the person who administers your server.”  Other Users have also reported issues with the Windows Home Server 2011 Launchpad connecting to the server and having issues running the Windows Home Server 2011 Connector installation.

Motoroloa Droid Razr Owners recive text stating Ice Cream Sandwich to come soon™

Today Owners of Motoroloa Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx Smart phones recived a Text message from Verizon Wireless that The Verizon Mobile IM app will not be supported in the upcoming update to the Android OS.  It made clear that the update is coming soon™. It also stated that users will have to find a new app themselves that does the same function as the Mobile IM app, as it will be uninstalled during the upgrade process. (more…)

Business to a Blog

Everyone these days has a blog, and I’m no exception.  About 3 years ago I was trying to start a business using this name.  Less than a year later I was hired, atleast part time, by another company doing the same type of work.  I decided that trying to compete for business was not going to work. So I stopped advertising under my own company and just did PC repair under his.  I did still maintain a little side job that has me assembling small circuit boards for a friend. (more…)
